I’m Nicky, a travel-obsessed mum of two living in Brighton.
I studied Classics at Oxford, spent ten years as a litigator, and then left it all behind to sell holidays, which some people took as proof that I’d lost my ambition. I hadn’t. I just wanted a career that didn’t make me choose between being around for my kids and contributing financially to our family, and I had very little idea what that career might be.
Then I found network marketing, selling travel. I know those two words can make people run for the hills, and I had my own reservations about it, but travel is something I love and use myself, so was willing to explore further.
Today I earn commission on the holidays I book, plus residual income from the team I’ve built, and I mentor more than 550 travel agents.
It isn’t for everyone. It’s a real business that takes real work, and what you earn depends on what you put in and plenty else besides. Some people want a little extra each month, others want something bigger, and many never get that far.
